Refund Policy.

Refund and cancellation terms for custom illustration and logo design projects.

1. Bespoke service

All work I deliver is custom, made-to-order illustration and design work. Because each project is produced specifically for the Client and cannot be resold, statutory cooling-off periods that apply to standard consumer goods do not apply to bespoke creative services once production has begun.

2. Booking deposit (50%)

A 50% deposit is required to confirm a booking and reserve a slot in my calendar. The deposit covers research, briefing time, sketches and the opportunity cost of holding the slot, and is therefore non-refundable once the brief has been accepted and the slot blocked.

3. Refunds before work begins

If the Client cancels in writing before any work on the project has started (no sketches, no research, no slot blocked), 100% of the deposit will be refunded within 14 days.

4. Refunds after work has started

If the Client cancels after sketches or research have been delivered, the deposit is forfeited and any additional time spent beyond the deposit value is invoiced pro-rata at my hourly rate. The Client receives the work produced up to that point under a non-commercial preview license.

5. Refunds after final delivery

Once final files have been delivered and accepted, the project is considered complete and no refund is issued. Minor corrections falling within the agreed revision rounds remain available for 14 days after delivery at no additional cost.

6. Illustrator-initiated cancellation

If I am unable to deliver a project for any reason (illness, scheduling, force majeure), 100% of any sums paid by the Client are refunded within 14 days. My liability in this case is limited to the amount paid for the affected project.

7. Disputes & chargebacks

If you believe an invoice has been raised in error, contact me at szalka.p@inbox.eu before initiating a chargeback. I am committed to resolving any genuine billing issue quickly and in good faith.

8. How to request a refund

Email szalka.p@inbox.eu with the project name, the invoice number and the reason for the request. I will respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are issued via the original payment method within 14 days.
